Our Story
The Beginning
As of January 1, 2025, a new nonprofit, TCFPH officially launched to address public and community health needs not covered by government funding.
The Sexual and Reproductive Health Services Program continues to be our highest funding priority.
Taking Root
In its first year, TCFPH exceeded its inaugural fundraising goal, raising nearly $140,000 through the generosity of local donors. Those funds strengthened essential public health services and laid the groundwork for future impact.
Our second strategic funding priority is grant-making to other areas of the health department.
What's Next?
TCFPH is expanding opportunities to support public health across every stage of life by investing in partnerships, sustainable funding, and innovative programs.
As the Foundation grows and develops a larger financial foundation, we will be excited to expand grant-making beyond the Health Department to other local entities supporting public health initiatives.

Sexual & Reproductive Health Services Grant
The Teton County Health Department’s Sexual and Reproductive Health Services (SRHS) program has relied on the support of donors and community members for over 10 years to provide expanded care for uninsured and underinsured individuals.
In 2025, the SRHS clinic completed 1,247 reproductive health visits and successfully maintained twenty hours a week of nurse practitioner services for the members of our community who need it most. During the 2025 grant cycle, funding from TCFPH directly translated into consistent healthcare access, lifesaving cancer screenings, and empowering reproductive health services for uninsured individuals who otherwise would have gone without care.
Sustained Access to Care

Hours per week
TCFPH funded dedicated Nurse Practitioner hours every week, ensuring a trusted medical professional was consistently available to diagnose, treat, and guide uninsured patients during hundreds of visits.
Life Saving Cancer Screenings & Early Detection
Preventative care saves lives and reduces long-term healthcare costs. With support from TCFPH, 323 total cancer screenings were performed. Pap smears were obtained onsite by nurse practitioners in the SRHS clinic, who also referred clients for mammograms and colonoscopies.

Empowering Family Planning & Reproductive Health
Access to contraception reduces unintended pregnancies and creates healthier families. SRHS nurse practitioners provided some form of birth control at 555 appointments, including highly effective, long-acting reversible contraception (LARC):

Community Health Grant
Starting in 2023, the Teton County Health Department (TCHD) established a new Community Health Outreach program, funded by Wyoming Department of Health COVID-19 Response funds. Community Health features initiatives across the entire Health Department, including Community Health Outreach, Community Prevention, Environmental Health and Nursing and Clinic Services, to address a wide range of health promotion and disease prevention topics that contribute to the overall health and well-being of Teton County residents. Funding from other sources has dwindled, and TCFPH is excited to expand its grant-making portfolio for the first time to support the following ongoing efforts:
